This boon has proved to be a boon for the farmers due to the fact that there is no need to mow the fields when planting cardamom, it is easy to sell, even if the price is low, it can be easily sold even if the price is low. Cardamom is also considered useful in preventing hunger. For cardamom cultivation, an altitude of 700 meters to 2200 meters above sea level, temperature of 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, loamy soil and an annual rainfall of 1500 to 5000 mm are considered to be suitable places in Sepilo North Mohada. Nepal Agro Tourism have cultivated cardamom in about 150 ropanies land Dolakha district. In which some area falls at Melung Municipality-1 and some area falls at Sailung Municipality-8. This area is suitable for cardamom production. We have cultivated Ramsai, Golsai, Varlang, Todi varieties of cardamom. We have been producing organic cardamom and exporting it to the Nepali market and also to the world market.
Nepal Agro Tourism has been providing interns for students and necessary training and quality plants for farmers. Every year students and farmers come in contact with Nepal Agro Tourism for internship and training.
